Views Overview

Unified View

Unified is the main canvas for a branch. It brings the branch model together in one place.

Unified sub-views

Brainstorm, Flow, and Architecture are sub-views inside Unified. Use them to focus the canvas on a particular kind of work; they are not separate top-level views. To switch views, open the saved-view selector and choose another saved Unified view.

• Brainstorm: capture and shape early ideas.
• Flow: work through behavior and process flows.
• Architecture: focus on system structure and relationships.

Other work areas

These are separate from Unified and its sub-views:

• Planning: organize planning items such as epics, stories, and tasks. For source-linked work, see Planning Builder linked work.
• Data Grid: inspect and edit model details in a table. The grid and Unified show the same branch model; use the Data Grid shared-schema guide to rename a field and confirm it on the canvas.
• Wiki: keep branch knowledge and decisions alongside the model. See Wiki artifact links for artifact links, pinning a page onto the canvas, and how the tutorial clip relates to those steps.

Edit a shared field with Data Grid

In Data Grid, edit the field's Name value, then switch to Unified and open the schema view to confirm that same field changed.

Link Wiki notes to the model

Create a Wiki page and insert an Artifact link to a model item. Add to Graph places a page-backed card on Unified; open the card once to confirm it returns to the intended page.

Choose Unified when you need the main branch canvas; use its sub-views to focus that canvas. Choose Planning, Data Grid, or Wiki for their distinct tasks.
