Interactive Design Reviews

Design Reviews let your team leave context-aware feedback directly in the Unified canvas and track whether unresolved feedback should block merge.

What you can do

• Create a thread anchored to the canvas center.
• Create a thread anchored to the currently selected node.
• Mark a thread as Blocking or Non-blocking.
• Add comments inside each thread.
• Resolve or reopen threads as review status changes.
• Focus the canvas on a thread location from the review panel.

How to use it

1. Open the Unified view for your branch.
2. Click Reviews in the top-right of the canvas.
3. Use New Canvas Thread or New Node Thread.
4. Add comments and set blocking state based on review severity.
5. Resolve threads when feedback has been addressed.

Merge behavior

• Branch merge is blocked when at least one open blocking review thread exists.
• The branch header shows blocking thread count and disables merge until resolved.

Team workflow tip

Treat blocking threads as required acceptance feedback. Keep non-blocking threads for suggestions and future refinements so critical paths stay clear.
